Glacier National Park is one of the United States national parks, located in Montana on the Canada-United States border. The park covers over 1 million acres and includes parts of the Rocky Mountains' sub-ranges, over 130 lakes, more than 1,000 species of plants, and hundreds of species of animals.

Glacier National Park is managed by the National Park Service. Visitation to Glacier National Park averages slightly 2 million visitors annually. A quite big number of visitors. How does Glacier National Park attracts so many visitors? What's so special about it? The answer is simple - its nature attractions. There are 41 attractions listed by National Park Service, and here's the top ten of them.

#1 Grinnell Glacier - A large glacier offering 300 acres of beauty. Beautiful long hike for the visitors. They can see breathtaking views of Upper and Lower Grinnell Lakes and of course, the glacier.

#2 Going-to-the-Sun Road - A spectacular and scenic 52-mile highway through Glacier National Park, which crosses the Continental Divide at Logan Pass in Montana.

#3 Iceberg Lake Trail - Hikers often wear bells and strike up loud conversations, so as not to startle the bears on this back country trail.

#4 Virginia Falls - Excellent hike! Easy and lots of gorgeous waterfalls. Make sure you go to the very last waterfall -Virginia, it comes off the mountain.

#5 Waterton-Glacier International Park - Beautiful, scenic, and uncrowded. Waterton Lakes National Park is a quiet park, by national park standards. You don't have to go far to get away from the crowds there!

#6 Highline Trail - A popular hiking trail with phenomenal views. Scary for the height challenged! Fantastic views, great hike.

#8 Iceberg Lake - This spectacular lake, bordered on three sides by mountains and located 1,000 feet above the trailhead, has patches of ice even in the warmest periods.
