 Colorado is known for its rocky mountains geographical background. The name Colorado was named after the Colorado River.Colorado is gifted with it beautiful landscape and panorama of mountains,forests, high plains, rivers and desert islands.

 You have read a tidBit about Colorado. However, this time around, we will take you to the capital of the state of Colorado. Denver is the largest city in Colorado and it is officialy known as the City and County of Denver, interestingly !

There are reasons you should pay a trip to Denver. The reasons are:

Wow ! Denver is a Sport City in USA, surpisingly, a home to a variety sports teams and is one of the USA cities with teams from four major sports: The Denver Broncos, a National Football League team; the Colorado Avalanche, a National Hockey League team; the Danver Nuggets, a National Basketball Association team; and the Colorado Rapids, a Major League Soccer team.

Denver Zoo

Denver Zoo is a 80-acre zoo offering free programs every summer which allows you to see the exotics birds, reptiles and small mammals at close distance.  The fee of admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $8 for children ages 3 to 11, and free for children under 2. Entering the zoo, you will see 3,500 different animals and one of the world’s largest habitats for endangered gorillas.

The zoo is open from March 1st to October 31st from 9am until 6pm with the last admission at 5pm. From November 1st until February 28th, the zoo is open from 10am until 5pm, with the last admission at 4pm.



16th Street Mall

16th Streer Mall is a pedestrian and transit mall covers over 300 locally owned stores, over 50 restaurants, and the Denver Restaurants. Besides shopping, it is a great place for people to take a stroll where beautiful flowers and trees can be found along the street. Denver is undeniably a gorgeous city with the art scene and surrounding. Denver offers inexpensive and free art museums,cultural areas and parksety of.You can enjoy the outdoors and art scenes at these places. In summer , a variety of festivals are held for you - whether concerts or food or art festivals. Downtown Denver Arts Festival, Chalk Art Festival, Capitol Hill People’s Fair, Denver Pride Fest, and Cherry Blossom Festival are just a few of the most popular festivals held.

Hammond's Candy Factory

Hammond’s Candy Factory has been making candy since 1920. Watch the chocolate being made during the free tour that, of course, includes free samples. Tours run every half-hour Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.
